Dean's Message

Dear Students,

Welcome to the Izmir University of Economics, Faculty of Health Sciences

We are very pleased to see you at the Faculty of Health Sciences. After establishing the Department of "Health Management", we continue our journey by getting stronger with the "Nursing" and “Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation” departments. After a highly challenging exam marathon, you are now a university student. You should know that from now on, all of you will have new directions that are different from each other. We wish you happiness, health, and productivity as you adjust to this new period of your life.

The need for nurses and physiotherapists who can follow the developments in the field of health in our country and the world and have the necessary competence and modern knowledge is increasing day by day. Based on this understanding, we are waiting for you with our course programs and experienced academic staff that will provide up-to-date knowledge about nursing, physiotherapy and rehabilitation in the field of health. Our primary goal is to train "Nurses" and "Physiotherapists" who can make a difference in the institutions they work for. However, it is increasingly clear that university education should not only be aimed at basic competence areas. In this direction, we offer our students a range of courses from different areas of interest. As a result of the studies we have carried out in our faculty for a long time, we believe that we have prepared all the necessary infrastructure for our students to receive a good education. We would like to thank all of you for choosing to become part of this experienced team.
