Izmir University of Economics Students Organize World Food Day Awareness Event
The Nutrition and Dietetics Club and the Medical Club of Izmir University of Economics jointly organized a series of activities on October 16 to celebrate World Food Day and raise awareness about healthy nutrition and food-related issues among students.
Held at the M Block Cafeteria on campus, the event featured a variety of interactive and educational activities, including memory games, a prize wheel, and a Kahoot quiz competition. These activities aimed to enhance students' knowledge of nutrition while encouraging active participation and social interaction in an engaging environment.
As part of the event, participants who performed successfully in the quiz competition received various food and beverage prizes sponsored by Niki The Cat Coffee.
The event attracted enthusiastic participation from students and contributed to raising awareness of the significance of World Food Day. It also strengthened collaboration between student clubs and highlighted the importance of promoting healthy eating habits within the university community.
