1st International Izmir University of Economics Health Sciences Congress Successfully Held

The 1st International Izmir University of Economics Health Sciences Congress, hosted by the Faculty of Health Sciences, took place on April 25–26, 2025 at Izmir University of Economics. The congress brought together academics and experts from various disciplines to exchange knowledge and share the latest scientific developments in the field of health sciences.

The opening speeches were delivered by Congress Chair Asst. Prof. Barış Gürpınar, Mayor of Balçova Mr. Onur Yiğit, Rector of Izmir University of Economics Prof. Dr. Yusuf Hakan Abacıoğlu, and Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Filiz Öğce Aktaş.

Throughout the two-day event, participants attended scientific sessions, oral presentations, keynote lectures, and interactive panels. The congress provided a productive environment to discuss interdisciplinary and intercultural approaches in health sciences, aiming to develop internationally recognized competencies for future healthcare professionals.
